Hairy root culture (HRC) represent a valuable biotechnological tool for the production of plant secondary metabolites. Secondary metabolome study Arabidopsis thaliana may help to understand biological roles various metabolites present in it. The work deals with establishment Agrobacterium rhizogenes strains transformed HRC A. very high transformation frequency resulting long term hairy cultures grown hormone free media.
